Material changes are recorded so people and agents can re-audit only what changed.

  1. Browser-native WebMCP tools

    Pages now register five WebMCP browser tools (search_spec, list_topics, get_topic, open_search, open_checklist), so an in-browser AI agent can search and read the specification without going through the remote MCP server. The tool bundle loads only when the browser exposes modelContext; tool metadata is type-checked against the WebMCP spec at build time, topic lists are paginated, and long pages are served with line offsets.

  2. STARTTLS and IPv6 for mail servers

    STARTTLS on MX hosts is a new required topic: every MX offers TLS with a certificate for its own hostname, TLS parameters follow the website checklist, and MTA-STS and DANE make it mandatory. Reverse DNS now covers IPv6: MX hosts reachable over IPv6, and the stricter rules for sending over it.

  3. Transport security added to authentication

    Three recommended requirements cover the receiving side of authentication: MTA-STS and DANE for SMTP so senders insist on valid TLS to your mail servers, and TLS reporting so you hear when that fails.

  4. Derived audit checklist and Markdown download added

    Every live requirement now appears in the interactive checklist and its Markdown equivalent, grouped by category and labeled by requirement status.

  5. Considered-and-excluded entries exposed to the MCP server

    Search over the MCP and A2A endpoints now covers the decision register as well as the specification itself. Asking about a technology that was evaluated and deliberately left out — BIMI, AMP for Email, read receipts — returns the recorded reason and its revisit condition under a separate heading, instead of reporting no match at all. Excluded entries are never presented as requirements.

  6. Initial Email Specification corpus published

    Published the first standards-backed corpus across ten categories, together with the checklist, machine-readable endpoints, OKF bundle, search index, and MCP data pipeline.

  7. MCP and A2A discovery surfaces added

    Added a stateless Cloudflare MCP Worker, A2A endpoint, server cards, agent catalog, schema map, and generated llms.txt surfaces over the same Markdown source.
